Air Tahiti Nui has sent an email with new airfare and vacation specials, starting at $998 per person from Los Angeles. The three specials they are offering are:

• Tahiti Retreat – Four night, five day getaways including airfare, hotel and breakfast for two. Packages start  at $998 per person for a Tahiti-only stay. Other island packages available include Moorea (from $1198), Huahine (from $1698) and Bora Bora (from $2898). Book by November 4th and travel between 11/13/09 – 12/14/09 and between 1/12/10 – 3/31/10.
• Tahiti Christmas Fare – Fly to Tahiti for Christmas starting at $998 per person from Los Angeles. Book by November 24th. Depart on December 9-12 and return on December 25-26. The best part – the fare is valid for stays up to 15 days, so you can enjoy an extended vacation in paradise!
• Fly South to Tahiti for the Winter – This fare also starts at $998 per person from Los Angeles to Papeete. Fares are also available from Los Angeles to far flung islands like Manihi, Tikehau, Rangiroa and Fakarava for $1293 per person. Book by November 24th and Travel between 11/13/09 – 12/14/09 and between 1/12/10 – 3/31/10. Valid for stays up to 7 days.

Golden State residents rejoice! Continental Airlines has just announced that it is introducing two new routes to its service. A Los Angeles to Maui route will operate daily, while an Orange County to Honolulu route will operate four times a week. Also, Continental is adding a second daily service on its Los Angeles to Honolulu route. Air Tahiti Nui is offering an early bird airfare special! Fares start from $954 roundtrip, departing from Los Angeles International Airport to Papeete.

This special fare is valid for a maximum stay of 10 days for travel between 1/11/2010 – 6/11/2010. Fares usually run closer to $1300, so this is a great deal! Hurry though, you must book by 9/24/2009.
